"Certainly, here's a more concise and less colloquial version: Abbiamo prenotato una stanza su Expedia per marzo, ma al nostro arrivo abbiamo scoperto che l'hotel era chiuso e non avrebbe riaperto fino a metà o fine maggio. Il proprietario, Alessandro, ci ha gentilmente permesso di soggiornare in una stanza non pulita da tempo ma in condizioni accettabili. "Farm is beautiful, pool is fantastic, accommodation is simple but good, you have your own space. After our arrivel we got some local food as a present which was very appreciated! Fantastic tomatoes and olive oil!"
