"Wonderful French chateau with a wonderfully friendly staff. We extended our stay here due to the charm and ambience as we head to Spain for the eclipse. The room is perfect, with the best bed we have experienced this trip and a lovely balcony. Breakfast was also great. Spectacular value for money. I highly recommend a stay here."

"Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances dans cette magnifique maison. Tout était réuni pour passer un séjour parfait : la maison est spacieuse, très propre, confortable et parfaitement équipée (climatisation sur la période de canicule). La piscine est un véritable atout, idéale pour se détendre à tout moment de la journée.L'emplacement est également excellent, dans un environnement calme tout en étant à seulement quelques minutes de la mer. Nous avons pu profiter aussi bien des baignades en piscine que des promenades le soir à Valras plage.Les extérieurs sont très agréables et bien entretenus, offrant un cadre reposant pour toute la famille. Les propriétaires sont accueillants, disponibles et attentifs au bien-être de leurs hôtes.Nous repartons avec de très beaux souvenirs et recommandons cette location sans la moindre hésitation. Une adresse que nous conserverons précieusement pour de futures vacances !"

"Échanges direct et par messages exelents!! Service 5 *... Le frigo a faiblit.. Échange de message le soir et nouveau frigo livré le lendemain matin. Le logement dans son jus nous à convenu à merveille . Propriétaires aux petits soins de leur locataires. Merci "

"This was clearly the nicest place we stayed on our bike trip from Carcassonne to Sete. The host couple, Natalie and Sebastien, could not have more welcoming or helpful. Their quiet little chambres de hotes is very close to the Canal du Midi path and very relaxing. The swimming pool was a delight after a day on the bike and they served us beers poolside (extra charge). Their extremely friendly pup, Violette, was an unexpected delight. I recommend taking them up on the offer for a seat at their table de hotes as well. It was a delicious meal on their terrace. I would recommend that you consider planning each stage of your trip around an overnight stop at Le Colibri Bleu."

"Chateau Castigno is located in the absolutely stunning area completely picturesque. Two good restaurants in the village of Assignan including a great breakfast.. many others within a short driving distance. The cave is an architectural gem with a thoughtful caring winemaker at the helm. Delicious!"
