"Loved our stay. Cerdeira is a beautifully restored village. So relaxing hearing the river and birds singing. We had a light dinner at the cafe both nights. So much easier than driving to a restaurant on the narrow windy roads at night. Cooking in would be a good option too. The hike to Candal is beautiful, but lots of up and down on a rocky path. Recommend one or two nights."

"My husband and I were excited to stay in the water mill and it didn’t disappoint! It was lovely to fall asleep to the sound of the crickets and the water! The house was well equipped (it even had a washing machine) and the photographic history was fascinating to see. We also enjoyed the outdoor space as well as a BBQ. If you’re interested in a quiet location with easy access to sites and services, you can’t go wrong with the water mill!"
