It is the convent where Bernadette lived the final years of her life, and it is her final resting place. "The staff was so kind and even though there was a language barrier they tried there hardest to make sure we were welcomed and to make sure we had everything we needed. The room was a bit small, but for one night we managed fine. The only easy feedback to owners would be to upgrade the pillows to something that is more than an inch thick, but overall we were happy and would stay there again, because they were over the top welcoming."

"Awful experience. We had a confirmed booking with Hotels.com, cycled 60 kms in the canicule and the owners didn’t accept that we had a reservation and refused to let us in saying that their hotel was closed. No help for any alternative- just go away. We were lucky to get a train to Nevers and found a friendly hotel there. We are still waiting to get our money back as it was all prepaid. Hotels.com are trying to contact the hotel to get their agreement to our refund but cannot find anyone to whom...
