"We arrived in the evening and were greeted by Dan, possibly the friendliest, more passionate human being on this planet. He gave us a warm welcome, showed us around, and made sure we were taken care of for dinner as there isn’t much around. He sent us to the local pub with lanterns as the walk there gets dark and it added a pretty fun experience to our evening. The property is beautiful, very clean, and well maintained. We played games in the lounge and had the best sleep in a very cozy and comfortable room. Will definitely come back."

"What an incredible place to stay! The owners were wonderful and so helpful. The property is very artfully decorated and beautifully maintained. The room we stayed in was very large with a gorgeous view of the water and mountains. There is a cozy lounge on the main level that boasts an impressive whiskey selection and warm fireplace. It is very conveniently located and a great jumping off point for restaurants, hikes, and exploring the area in general. I highly recommend a stay at this lodge. It was our favorite hotel on our 3 week trip."

"These are great rooms for families as having what is effectively a small apartment with 2 bedrooms and separate lounge just makes life so easy and so nice to have the space for “stuff”, especially if you have been out and got as muddy and wet as we did."

"The property manager buzzes you in when you get there. Huge first floor room with a bath tube. Easy walk down to the main area. Good options are tough in town and breakfast is limited."

"Great location. Safe and easy walking around Fort Willams. Room was clean, but we asked for limited cleaning during the 3 days. First morning we requested just simple tidy up. Didn't happen, garbage and tea cups were not cleaned or replaced. 2nd morning went to frontdesk and requested towels and tidy up. They took the used towels, left no replacements. The garbage, which is now full, remained full for the balance of our stay. The frontdesk did bring clean towels. We washed our cups."
