It is advisable to book in advance if you wish to do the Harry Potter Steam Train that goes from Fort William to Mallaig, going over the Glenfinnan Viaduct. Also, a good idea to plan ahead if you are going over to Mull, Iona or Skye by ferry, Skye is known for its rugged landscape.
