We are VRBO/HomeAway/Expedia Premier Hosts since 2019. This home is a cozy, single family house with 2 bedrooms, a living room, dining room, den/sunroom, kitchen, 2 bathrooms and a 2 stall garage. There is a large, private pool and spa on the screened lanai as well as a nicely landscaped, completely fenced-in large backyard.  It’s in a highly sought-after Old Florida neighborhood in the heart of South Fort Myers located off of palm tree lined McGregor Blvd and is 11 miles from Fort Myers Beach and 17 miles from Sanibel Island. It is 5 miles to downtown Fort Myers and 16 miles to the SWFL International Airport. Shopping is close by with Publix, Target, Walmart, outdoor malls and more just minutes away. There are 3 bicycles as well as beach chairs, beach umbrellas, beach shelling tools and a beach cooler. *Approval needed before bringing pets*

Not what we expected or wanted

Property management doesn't let you know that they control the A/C and the pool/spa heater. No directions listed on house rules about this. You have to reach out the homeowner and wait for a response. This information should be provided BEFORE you booking since it's a nuisance. Vacation is supposed to be peaceful, not stressful. Asthmatics beware. House has a very strong musty odor. We had purchase plug-ins to mask the odor. Main shower handle was broken, could not use that shower, and had to notify the owner. Thank God there was another shower in the home. The home itself was clean along with the pool.

Very Nice

The house was beautifully decorated & very clean. The kitchen was stocked well. I love the bowl sinks in the bathroom ! The pool was a wonderful treat after a long day out! Even though its located in the middle of everything it's very quiet !! We'd like to thank the owners for our wonderful stay! Highly recommended for a couple or family.

Great Property!

This property has everything you could desire. I've never stayed at a property that is so completely stocked. Every need is anticipated! Owners are super nice and communicate easily and quickly. This is truly a hidden gem. We will definitely stay again when we are in the area. I can't think of a better place.

Just As Advertised

This property is in a quiet residential neighborhood close to everything you would need. We enjoyed the property for 54 days and hosted assorted friends/family on three separate instances throughout our stay.We had no problems worth noting and when we had questions both Jennifer and Byron were quick to respond. When/if we return to this area we'd stay here again in a heartbeat.This was very much like being home during our winter getaway, and we treated it that way. No complaints, just many thanks to Jennifer and Byron!

Long weekend stay

We arrived Thursday night. Check in was super easy.We received a garage code the day of arrival. The house was clean and had everything we needed. It was conveniently to close groceries and we found a great Italian restaurant just a little ways down the road. We throughly enjoyed our visit.

Great stay and Location

We went for the weekend at Ft Myers for the beaches after spending the week at Universal Studios. The kids loved the pool, the location was beautiful, and we fell in love with Ft Myers. The owners had everything we needed to go to the beaches and shelling- chairs, umbrella, scoops and sifters, towels, and coolers. They gave us ideas on where to find shark teeth and the best shells. We were really happy to have a washer and dryer to clean our things before flying home. The house had many extras that we didn’t use but would if we stayed longer- basic cooking ingredients & supplies, small appliances, lots of dishes and pots/pans, extra linens, and printouts of local places and menus. They even have a mango tree out front and told my daughter she could pick some to eat (she was very excited about this, we don’t have mango trees in Missouri). We had an issue with the water being turned off before we came but they came out quickly and resolved it. The house was older but very clean and had updates throughout, especially in the kitchen. We’d definitely stay again!

I Wouldn’t stay at this property if it were free. The owners controlled the Thermostat and would turn off the A/C at night. 😩😩

Nice home. Great pool.

It was a nice house. Unfortunately for some reason there were quite a few flies and did 2 cockroaches. From owning property in Florida before I know that those things can be tough at times. But the location was good for me. The bedding and towels were very clean and it was overall a nice tidy home. I would stay again in the future.

Lovely home in beautiful neighborhood

We loved staying here - the house was adorable with what looked like a new nicely designed well-stocked kitchen with a window looking out thru an enclosed lanai to the backyard pool, which was well- maintained. The house is parallel to majestic McGregor Blvd near the Edison estate and one block from the river, plus a fabulous Alliance for the Arts museum less than a mile away, good biking in the neighborhood with designated bike lanes. We would definitely stay here again!

Location and safe neighborhood

Jennifer and Byron were very very accommodating. We requested firewood for the fire pit since it was a little chilly and they didn't hesitate to provide some. They came over to swap out the cylinder for the gas grill too. Unfortunately, time got away from us for the 4 days we were there and didn't even use it. The house was perfect for our dog and a great, quiet and safe neighborhood for dog walks. The location couldn't have been better as it was a short drive to the beach and downtown and lots of restaurant options too. The house was a little outdated, but it was so perfect that it was easy to ignore. The bed was soooo comfy and the home was well stocked with amenities. We'd definitely stay here again. Thanks Jennifer and Byron for sharing your house with us.

Family Wedding Weekend in Fort Myers

Great Stay

We enjoyed spending December here. The house was clean and well stocked. The property managers responded promptly to any questions. The location was centrally located and it was easy to get to our favorite beaches, restaurants and shopping places. My dog loved walks in the neighborhood and chasing squirrels in the yard. The pool and hot tub worked well. We would definitely stay here again.
