"Lovely old inn and tavern. Lots of little extras provided, like distilled water for the coffee maker. The breakfasts were delicious. Housekeeping came daily. Close to town and Sears Island, where you could stroll on the beach or do some hiking. Highly recommended!"
"Loved the decor, heated floors, and the whole vibe. Definitely a great place for a family trip or a couple looking for a little getaway. Great location to easily get to Camden and Belfast. "

Oceanfront Home Overlooking Penobscot Bay , Castine Maine.<br>History abounds !
10/10 Excellent
"My husband and I selected this property for the location and amenities that perfectly suit our needs with our dog. The pictures of the property do not do it justice, it is super comfy and simply stunning. The only drawback was no A/C but my understanding is this is being added."
"Driftwood Cottage was the perfect setting for our family. It was secluded and serene but also close enough to Blue Hill for easy shopping and strolling. It was just a 1 hour drive from Acadia NP which made a great day trip but it all meant that we got away from the crowds. We enjoyed just chilling on the screened porch but also loved walks along the neighborhood roads and kayaking on the tidal river. The view of the river from the house was so calming and interesting. We loved watching the seals and cormorants. The house was impeccably clean and well furnished. Jane was a very gracious host, and made sure we were comfortable the whole time."
Charming Antique Cape, Water View, Historic Castine, Penobscot Bay.
10/10 Excellent
"Stayed here for 4 days and had a wonderful time seeing our son after 6 weeks at MMA. House was perfect and just what we needed. The profile says it all. It is a storybook cottage with views of the cove and even had a wonderful apple tree with apples all over it. Other reviews talk about the road and it smelling old. None of this was true at all. Never heard a single car and felt after pulling in the driveway that you were miles away from reality. Is it an older cottage, yes but that is what makes it amazing. This is what you would picture a Maine cottage to be. Only hope we can stay again sometime soon. It was hard to say goodbye not only to our son but to the cottage as we head back south to realty! "
Comfy Downtown Getaway w/ Full Kitchen - Close to the Beach
4/10 Poor
"The beds were a joke and the spaces were dirty (mouse poop and birdseed on top of the refrigerator). The living room furniture is worn and uncomfortable. I would not recommend this property."
Tiny home with Loft-Boho by the sea under the stars
10/10 Excellent
"It truly is a "tiny house". I thought it would be fun to experience a tiny house. But we are 80 and 81 years old and we have sleep difficulties. It is much more suitable for much younger people. We were impressed at how well it was stocked with anything we needed. The outdoor space had a table, umbrella, and chairs. We enjoyed our morning coffee & muffin breakfast there. In the corner of the privacy fence were two Adirondacks, and I got sunnapping in one of them. We love the beautiful town of Castine! We were also very thankful for the air conditioner as it was much warmer than we had hoped. Many rentals do NOT have air-conditioning in Maine!"
