"The room was large and clean. The bed was fairly comfortable and much better than the bed in the last hotel I stayed, and that hotel was much more expensive and had a $50 dog fee. What’s wrong with these hotels? IT’S ALL ABOUT SLEEPING COMFORT AND QUIET? Get that right. Everything else is gravy. I appreciated that dog could stay for free and had a dog area nearby for her needs. The hotel has a wonderful view and is away from noisy traffic. The breakfast was adequate. It’s an older hotel and in my opinion could be a star with some renovations, but for the price and for my dog, it was fine for one night."

"This was the perfect location for us. We were in town for a funeral at St. Michael's in the Valley (less than 1/2 mile from the house). We were able to bring our dogs, who we so excited by the deer in the yard every morning."

"Great place to stay with extended family members while we were in town for a family reunion in Somerset. This was a quaint ski lodge with comfortable amenities and a well stocked kitchen. Bedrooms are in the main floor with second floor kitchen/living area. King bed is up in the loft - not advisable for small kids or very tall men!"

"We have a large family (18 people) and this property was spacious enough for us. The kids had a great time in the game room, hot tub and outside area. The living room was large enough for us to gather. There was plenty of seating for meals and the kitchen was well stocked. The outside deck area was lovely and spacious as well. We had several issues (broken coffee maker. hot tub issue, no vacuum), and the host responded immediately. The dishwasher was broken, and didn't get fixed which was disappointing, because with 18 people, we had to hand wash a lot of dishes! The other disappointing thing was that the resort pool would only allow 10 of us at a time, even though we were told ahead of time we could bring 20. Michael apologized and offered to work with us in the future with a property with a private pool."
