Hollywood Oasis w/pool DOES NOT EXIST

Very disappointed with this booking. Three days before our arrival, I received an email confirming our reservation advising us to get ready for our stay. Tried several times to contact the host for access instructions and never received a response. VRBO support tried to contact the host by phone and also received no response. On our way to the airport, we tried calling the host again. This time a sleepy-sounding woman answered and asked “what property?” Then magically we were disconnected. Tried calling again only to receive busy signal several times After receiving our rental car, we sat in the parking lot with no place to stay during spring break week. Talked again with VRBO support; they tried calling again and told us they had not heard from this host since 2023. Yet they still had the place available for rent. They still do as they are asking me to book a test reservation I created.to see if the property is still listed. We were granted an extra amount for our inconvenience but VRBO offered us no assistance to rebook another property. We were lucky to find another beautiful property a day later and had to book a hotel near the airport because Vrbo Does not have same-day reservations. Quite a STRESSFUL EXPERIENCE! DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY.
