"This is a hotel for fishermen and others not looking for luxury. My room was a little musty, but clean. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly. She went out of her way to find me a place where I could charge my electric vehicle. The TV, Wi-Fi, AC, Shower, everything worked well and met my needs. The room was clean. If you're looking for a reasonably-priced place to get some shut-eye after a long day on the water, this is it."

"Camp Cayenne was everything we needed during our time in Venice. Slept every one comfortably. Acs functioned great, and were a great treat after a long day on the water. The master shower was spacious and the hot water was scolding just the way I love it! Conveniently located within a few minutes of the marina, and a dollar general right across the highway for necessities."

"Over the years my husband has made numerous fishing trips to the Buras area and he said this was the best place he’d ever stayed. Since there were 5 of them they appreciated the 4 bedrooms and they had everything they needed. Beau, the host, is excellent. He responds to messages quickly and is very accommodating. We’ve rented through VRBO for a long time and he’s at the top of the list. Definitely recommend!"
