"After a very disappointing assignment to a 1st floor room (having requested a high floor weeks ago) I was not happy w/ unfriendly staff member (ONLY one tho) who said she couldn't reassign & hadn't noticed my request. Other than a hint of musty smell, all was extremely clean & VERY well appointed. Big thick towels, comfy bed, lg shampoo, conditioner & body wash in shower where you cld turn on the water & wait for it to get hot without getting wet! Towels by the sparkling pool as well as in the gym, 24/7 lobby coffee w/ ALL fixngs (even sugar free French vanilla Torani). Breakfast had microwave if eggs or sausage weren't warm enough. Tons of toppings for oatmeal and waffle maker. Wld easily stay again."

"Check-in was easy, the caretaker was right there to hand over the key, and gave us a brief history of the plantation, which has been around since the 1820s! The air conditioning worked very well and that's a blessing since we visited in August. Husband and I explored and walked the property more than once, trying to imagine it in its different eras. My only issue was the breakfast sandwich in the freezer, which was a solid block of ice. Maybe, put the sandwiches in the freezer the day before guests arrive..."

"This house had a true Louisiana vibe....felt like home. I as a Dad...can tell you that they're aspects of house rental that are unappreciated. This house had hot water, good water pressure, an adequate kitchen and great A/C. All the bathrooms were functional and love the size of the master bathroom....BIG! Mom said she loved the beds...there was a bit of a climb for a 5'2'' granny...but all the beds were nice. Thanks to Chris and Kiara, we had a great family reunion."

"I was very pleased with my stay here. I was a little skeptical before arrival with the cheap price of the room. However I honestly can't say anything bad about this place. The room was clean, no bugs, dead or alive, of any kind. No stains or hairs on the bedding and the bed was comfortable. The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful."
