"The owner was really nice and pleasuring speak with. He even spoke perfect Spanish! The place was comfy for our family of 3. Perfect location for us to drive up to the McDonald Observatory Friday night then not far from our drive To Balmorhea Saturday morning. They offered breakfast too and ice! The room was really nice and it looked like it’s had upgrades. Very nice, we’d definitely stay again! "

"We attended an event at the square. The house is conveniently located near town, making it easy to go back and forth multiple times a day. However, it is also far enough from the town to provide a peaceful and quiet atmosphere.The layout was ideal for our family, with bedrooms situated on both sides of the house. The furniture is comfortable and can accommodate a large group. The pantries and bathrooms are fully stocked, and there is a washer and dryer available if needed.Communication from the manager was excellent—thorough and prompt."

"This house is perfectly situated for exploring not just Fort Davis, but all of the surrounding areas. We were able to get to Marfa in 20 minutes, and Balmorhea in 30. It’s walkable to the Main Street/downtown area where you can pop into funky shops and meet the lovely locals. We must have gone to the Stone Village Market at least once a day during our stay for iced coffee, food, and an insanely delicious banana cream pie.We felt at ease in this house, and very much enjoyed all of the thoughtful touches the owners put into it. They clearly love their home, and we felt lucky to get to experience it too."
