Sandcastle Studio is the intimate companion to the award-winning Sandcastle home — a recently renovated couples retreat perched above Forresters Beach, with a massive private deck, sweeping ocean views, and the golden sands literally at the bottom of the stairs. For two people who want the ocean as their backdrop for every moment of the day, this is exactly that.



The Space:

Sandcastle Studio is a light-filled, thoughtfully curated coastal studio for two. Renovated throughout, the open-plan space is bright, airy, and designed as a peaceful white canvas — where the blue of the Pacific takes centre stage and everything else gets out of the way. It sleeps 2 guests with a queen bed, a fully equipped kitchenette, a private deck, and the sound of the ocean as a constant companion. Close enough to Terrigal for restaurants and cafés, quiet enough to feel like you've left the world behind.

The Views:

The huge private deck is the heart of Sandcastle Studio — a front-row seat to Pacific Ocean, perched just above Forresters Beach. Morning coffee as the sun rises over the water. The Location:

You are metres from the beach — tucked into the serenity of Forresters Beach, one of the Central Coast's most beautiful and least-crowded stretches of coast, while being just a short drive from the vibrant dining scene of Terrigal. The only soundtrack is the rhythm of the waves and the birdlife above. This is what complete coastal immersion feels like.



The Studio:

A welcoming, open-plan space with a kitchenette fully equipped with oven and stove — everything you need for a romantic meal with the ocean in the background. The queen bed is positioned to catch the morning light. High-speed WiFi and a dedicated workspace make this equally appealing for those who want the most inspiring desk view on the coast.

The Location:

Forresters Beach sits on a quiet, unspoilt stretch of coast between Terrigal and The Entrance — calm, beautiful, and rarely crowded. The beach is metres from the studio door. Terrigal's restaurants, cafés, and Esplanade are a short drive away when you want them. The rest of the Central Coast is easily explored by car from this peaceful base.



Sandcastle Studio earns its keep in every season — but the one that surprises guests most is winter. Summer brings long warm days, sunrise swims, and golden deck evenings as the Pacific shimmers below. Autumn quietens the beach and deepens the light.



Winter — from June through November — is when the studio reveals something special: humpback whales migrate directly through the ocean panorama below and watching them breach from your own private deck is the kind of experience guests describe as one of the best of their lives. Spring brings warmth back and the beach back to life. Whatever season brings you here — the deck, the view, and the sound of the ocean will be exactly as promised.

Forresters Beach is a peaceful coastal suburb on the Central Coast of New South Wales, situated between Terrigal and Bateau Bay. It’s best known for its long, sandy beach with reef breaks that attract surfers, quiet rock pools, and scenic ocean views — offering a more relaxed and uncrowded beach experience compared with some neighbouring towns.



The area has a friendly, laid-back community vibe with a small local hub of cafés, boutiques and services just minutes from the shoreline. It’s also surrounded by natural attractions like Wyrrabalong National Park, where coastal walking trails and lookouts provide panoramic views, whale watching opportunities, and peaceful bushland settings.



With a mix of relaxed residential streets, beachside homes and holiday rentals, Forresters Beach appeals to families, surfers, retirees and anyone seeking a serene coastal lifestyle. Its proximity to larger nearby centres like Terrigal and Erina means residents and visitors also enjoy convenient access to shops, dining and transport while still benefiting from the area’s natural beauty and quieter seaside charm.



Other Things to Note:

Coast Hosting is a professional hosting company and will ask you to provide a digital copy of your ID prior to arrival. These details are required via a secure, online Guest Check in Form and the details are stored safely.



We also require a refundable security bond of $200, which will be held for the duration of your stay to cover any potential damages. This will be released within 7 days after your departure, provided there are no issues.

You will also be asked to provide your card details via the same secure online check-in form. These details are encrypted and securely processed through the Stripe payment gateway.



We are governed by and fully comply with strict privacy laws, and your card details will not be shared with any third party or retained beyond what is necessary to securely process the required payment or authorization.



Third-party bookings are generally not permitted. The person making the reservation must be one of the guests staying at the property and must be present for the duration of the booking.



The booking guest is responsible for providing accurate guest details, completing all required verification, agreeing to these Terms & Conditions, and accepting responsibility for the conduct of all guests during the stay.



Exceptions may be considered for legitimate third-party bookings made by recognized insurance companies, corporate organizations, relocation providers, or similar authorized entities. Supporting documentation or additional verification may be required.
