From greeting us at the airport, to arranging dinner reservations that first evening, to prompt responses to all our text queries, he made us feel welcomed and at ease. "Paolo was very helpful showing us the way to the house and inviting us to use vegetables from the garden behind the house. The house is very nice, completely equipped (dishwasher, washing machine etc.), spacious and very clean. It is on a quiet road; especially on the backside you have lots of privacy. The pool is great and there is a lot of space for children to play. The only disadvantage we could think of, is that there are no shops or restaurants nearby; you always need to go by car."

"Simply stunning place right away from it all in the Tuscan hills. We loved the pool, the quiet area and generally feeling relaxed. Barga was close and nearby with more than enough shops etc for food. The owner was so kind and welcoming, it was like staying with family! Definitely 5 stars from us!"

"Truly had such a lovely stay in this beautiful villa. We are a family of 8 (6 adults, 2 children under 5) and this worked perfectly for us. Comfortable beds, plenty of bathrooms and Carmine the host was very attentive and helpful at all times. The villa is in great proximity to the main walled city of Lucca and there is plenty of space to park if you have hired cars (we had 2 cars).
