There is a local shop, but I would recommend doing most of your shopping for your stay before coming up the valley. Nice garden and patio area. If you have small children the parking could be an issue. It is not far away, but there is no pavement and you have to walk several 100 metres on a busy road. "The property is spectacularly situated, but is somewhat difficult to find, one has to cross the neighbours’ ground to approach. The appartment was reasonably tidy, but the furniture needs refurbishment. The lower compartiment is used for storage of garden equipment and is severely smelling (fuel damps of the grassmower) and can therefore not be used as a sleeping facility. The swimming pool was clean."

""Romantic chalet bijou" is a perfect description: this is an ideal place if you're looking for somewhere quiet and "off the beaten track". Very clean and well equipped (the only thing missing was an iron, but we're happy not to iron our clothes!), and the terrace is lovely. A lovely base for exploring the upper Valais region."

"Nothing could have prepared us for how special and unique this location was. The home lies in a stone village on an enchanted mountain woven with waterfalls and mists. The host was gracious, has an excellent kitchen for cooking, and a special set of fireplaces to keep you warm in winter. Traveled with a small dog too, who also very much enjoyed this magical spot. We couldn't have been happier with every aspect of our stay. Perfetto!"

"We had a really great stay, Stefan's house has amazing garden around and it was a true pleasure sit and work there with my laptop :) WiFi connection is really good, you have mountains around, Maggiore lake is nearby and all the needed amenities in the house. I would love to go back on autumn! :)"

"Fiesch is a great place to base yourself and the chalet is a good size and well equipped. I have just marked it down because it's a real slog to get up to the chalet. I wouldn't recommend if you are not reasonably fit unless you have a car. The place was pretty clean and any problems with the lock on the front door previously mentioned have been sorted. But there were a few issues that stopped it being 5*. The shower drain was blocked and quickly filled up. You have to put your own bedding on...

"Wir haben die Ferienwohnung im Parterre sehr genossen (keine anstrengende Kofferschlepperei!). Die etwas konservativ konzipierte Ferienwohnung mit den verschiedenen getrennten Zimmern hat auch Vorteile: Man kann jeden Raum separat beheizen und hat auch keine Küchenluft im Schlafbereich! Nähe zur Aletsch-Arena (Abfahrt) und zum Langlaufskigebiet Goms ist sehr vorteilhaft. Der Umgang mit der Vermieterin war vollkommen unkompliziert und sehr freundlich."

"We used the Alpine Apartments for several nights during a bicycle tour. They had a safe, secure bike storage area in each building. Access to the bike path was easy, making trips into town for groceries quite fast. Also close to the train station. Apartments are like new, with a nice kitchen, clothes washing machine, heated drying rack, dishwasher, and large refrigerator. "
