"We stayed as an extended family of 14. Grand parents on the ground floor as they are less mobile however just to be clear there is no en suite and there are two separate steps down to the nearest bathroom - which is very close to the bedroom. That said the grand parents gave their review as 10 out of 10. Other rooms in the main house offered plenty of space and necessary furniture etc. we also used the annex which worked well. Pool was lovely, gardens were lovely, cool, peaceful and private. The outside sitting area was perfect - secluded and sheltered. The kitchen was well equipped and we didn’t want for anything. Plenty of crockery, cutlery, pots and pans. The oven was large and could easily cater for a large group. The fridge could have been a little more efficient/cooler but it worked hard!Nearby Saint Saens was lovely. We walked and cycled around the area. Loved all the chalk streams running through nearby villages. Perfect to visit Rouen and also the north coast beaches for a swim in the sea. Overall we would recommend it as an excellent base to visit neighbouring communities or simply to hunker down and enjoy the peace and serenity of the house, buildings and garden. We enjoyed playing petanque too. Kate was super- attentive, helpful and nearby if needed. Thank you. Would we stay again…?? YES!"

"Excellent property for 1 or 2 families.The pool / hot tub / sauna / bbq area etc was absolutely fantastic. House was nice and cool, but worth bringing some fans if it's very hot.Great grounds as well, plenty of room.Couple of things to be aware of:The interior staircase is a thin metal spiral, requiring good mobility. There's a 'normal' exterior stairs if needed.A lot of the bedrooms are actually single rooms split up by room dividers etc. Only 3 truly separate bedrooms."

"Cycling London to Paris. This was our first stop. No bike storage, but chained to railings in full sight of 24hr reception. Hotel was very nice, and looking at staying here again. Food was delicious, including evening buffet. Staff were very helpful, including escorting us to see the chef to discuss vegetarian buffet options (and help with language barrier). Unfortunately, we did not have a long enough stay to enjoy the hotel's facilities (pool, spa, golf, grounds, etc), but would look at staying here again. "
