"Management at breakfast left a lot to be desired. When we arrived, no one was there to greet us. The only staff member was engaged in a heated conversation with another guest. There was no milk for the cereal. No spoons either! Coffee pot had run out. Family sized kettle was supplying a dining room of about 20 people. Bread was in short supply. Basically under staffed. One staff member taking orders, serving food and clearing tables."

"My husband and I were traveling up the coast and heard Montrose was a cute town so we booked the George. The location, staff and food were outstanding. The breakfast was varied, hot and delicious.
