"We spent a late October week at the home of Fulivia and Maria. Their home was spotless, pool was welcoming, and the foosball table a welcome surprise for our son. We were pleasantly surprised by weather being good enough for a comfortable swim that late in the season. The hosts were generous with us on some things we needed to find locally, and were kind people justifiably proud of their beautiful home. "It hurts to give middling ratings. The staff and mgmt were friendly and helpful (eg, they gave me a room close to the reception check-in, they provided transport to the train station when no other option was available). The problem is while the crew might be good they need to run a tighter ship, The property is showing its age, it’s up the hill from the town and is oriented to large groups. As a solo, shoulder season guest, we, the few, are lost in the cracks of pre-season prep. "
