However, the check-in time was not properly honored, and no compensation or measure was offered in response. That part was disappointing and made our family quite upset. Before arrival, I exchanged a few emails with the hotel staff about arranging a surprise for my fiancé’s birthday — they were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make it special. The gym and spa facilities were lovely, and everything was spotless. The breakfast buffet had a great selection, including fresh fruit and made-to-order omelettes. Highly recommend!"
