"Really nicely furnished apartment equipped with everything you need. Very nice and big terrace as well! Rustic interior which gives it an authentic feel. Only negative thing was that the WiFi did not work during our stay. We tried asking the host but were just told to ‘go out and try in the garden’. "We had a great stay. It was very clean and close to the heart of Taormina. Big shower. Great kitchen. Excellent communication with the owner. The stairs are a little hard to get up and down but also very charming. Parking is difficult and you need to walk 10 minutes as you can’t park right next to the place. Overall, highly recommend!"

"Luca made all the difference for our stay here. Excellent communication and was very helpful. The area is great, especially if you like markets because it’s right outside your door. The front door is not car accessible. It’s only a short walk down an alley. The alley itself is pretty interesting. So many shops and restaurants surrounding this place. Ok wifi, great water pressure and temperature. Nice to have air conditioning. A very sweet little outdoor space. Would recommend. "

"Multi-generational family visiting Taormina for the first time. Casa di Nonno was a wonderful experience and location! Communication with host was thorough and prompt. We even arranged ground transportation as well. Once we were on site, Christina made sure we had everything we needed, including coming to our rescue when we locked ourselves out! Home is beautiful and spending Christmas in Taormina was magical."

"Property very tastefully furnished, friendly hosts (who speak very little English). OK for 2 people, would be a bit tight for 4. Major issues with swimming pool (out of action for 5 of our 14 days), with water pressure (20 mins for shower to warm up and then only a dribble), extremely loud and frequently barking dog. Although located in a side street it is adjacent to a major road - plenty of traffic noise during the day. Location convenient for Etna and the sites on the east side of the island."

"Wonderful location with breathtaking views. Guiseppe is an incredible host - he even stocks the cabinets and fridge with snacks and drinks! Ideal space if you’re traveling with a large group. Just a few minutes walk to Isola Bella (though there are numerous staircase steps to get to the beach.) Private parking was a huge plus. "This would have been 5 stars all round except for the many dogs barking, thankfully not through the night and unfortunately we were bitten many times by mosquitoes. The views of Mount Etna were breath taking plus we had the added bonus of watching it erupt for hours late into the night from the comfort of the terrace. The villa is brilliant with private secure parking. Mario and Angela are excellent hosts. We would definitely recommend their villa for a holiday."

"A great property in very easy reach of Mt Etna, Taormina, Catania (40 mins from each), and Milazzo. There is also a lovely beach just 10mins away. The neighbourhood is a bit a non-descript, but it is a lovely property, quiet, with a lovely "temporary" pool which is a perfect way to relax at the end of the day. Francesco the host was great throughout the stay. Highly recommended as a base for visits around Etna."
