Ocean View and pool access~ Sand and Surf

  • Sand N Surf is one of Folly's Best! This 3 bedroom, 3 bath condo is located across the street from the beach and can accommodate up to 8 people! No need for a car while on the island as Sand N Surf is a block away from shops and local restaurants. The Folly Pier is close by to take an evening stroll and watch fishermen. Downtown Charleston is just a 25-minute drive for the perfect day trip.

    It has a well-equipped kitchen and spacious living room with an attached private balcony. The master bedroom has a Queen bed with Smart TV and an en-suite bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub. The second bedroom is furnished with a double bed, Smart TV, and en-suite bathroom as well. The third bedroom has 2 twin bunk beds. Parking passes for 2 vehicles is included with this rental as well as a full-size washer and dryer. As an added bonus, there is a pool on site (open April-October). Please note that this unit is on the 1st floor of building 2.

We loved staying here. Sand and surf is so spacious and had a wonderful patio you can see the ocean from. We loved how close all the restaurants and shops were. We were able to walk everywhere! We’ll definitely be back!

This was a great condo! We have adult children so this was a great location for our family to spend our vacation. The public beach was right across the street. Restaurants, bars, and shops were all within close walking distance. Shout-out to Bert's Market which had a little bit of everything! We would definitely stay here again.

5 friends and I stayed here for a weekend to attend a wedding on Folly and it was great! The condo had a view of the ocean on the porch and was a perfect location to walk to and from the restaurants and bars.

Wonderful vacation

Perfect location for walking to all the shops and restaurants on Center Street. Clean, spacious condo with a view of the beach and close to the pier.

We thought the location was perfect. I was still recovering from knee surgery so it was necessary for us to have a place close to everything. This was perfect.

We had a wonderful time. The atmosphere was great and the beach was very close. We enjoyed beach time and sight seeing in Charleston and Mount Pleasant.

Perfect Location

We have stayed multiple times in this building. It is perfectly situated to enable enjoyment of all Folly's best features. The unobstructed view of the ocean is The Best!

Weekend getaway with Family

Perfect location and a lovely spot. Rooms are nice and clean; Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cookware. There’s lots of choices close by for restaurants. The beach is very nice and easily accessible. We will definitely be back!

Family Gathering

We needed a place to stay for 3 nights to attend a family gathering. The location was perfect for walking to shops and restaurants on Center street. The Condo was clean and the beds were comfortable.

The location is the best, a quick walk to the beach. You can walk to all the restaurants. The property manager was great; they helped out when a request was made for blackout curtains. The A/C works really well. Now the downside: the existing curtains in the primary bedroom allow all the headlights and street lights to come into the room. We asked if it was possible to have blackout curtains. They accommodated our request and installed them the next day. The only problem was that the curtains were more of a light-filtering material. The property mgr was following the owner's direction. The A/C vent in the primary bedroom leaks, so you get wet at night. There are wet stains next to the vent. There was a previous mention in a review of furniture resembling items from a thrift store- I can agree. The chairs in the living room are old and look dirty; the sofa is extremely uncomfortable; there are these old side chairs in the bedroom that have seen better days. If the theme was shabby chic or eclectic, it failed. The beds are not the best either. There is no place to hang a hand towel in the bathrooms; the shower in the primary is small, and the bottom is slippery. There is a large garden tub that no one can use. The place has great potential; it needs some TLC, such as painting the walls to cover the stains made from the chairs, fixing the drywall in the bathroom.

Great Location

The property was in a great location. Ocean view is a stretch, palm trees block most of the view for 1st floor units. There IS a small peakaboo view on the ends of the deck. Unit was clean but needed some love. Pictures missing off the wall…old furniture and appliances. Size of unit was good for 5 adults.

Deception

The property was poorly maintained. Mold in showers. Confusion at property managers who could not answer questions correctly, ocean view blocked by tree's, overpriced, furniture stunk, mattresses worn out and smelly. Good thing I brought Lysol. Electric outlets not working. Pool very small. Beach access fantastic. I could go on. I will never VRBO again.
