Love Pelican's Hideaway!

We really enjoy our stay at Pelican’s Hideaway, again. We are repeat visitors and once again weren’t disappointed. You just can’t beat the beautiful view of the river and the great porches. Can’t wait for our next stay.

Perfect Folly Beach house!

This house has the best of both worlds, gorgeous river views and only a short walk to the beach. You can sit on the large open deck or on the screen porch and hear the birds on the river and the waves at the beach. Early morning coffee and sunset in the evening on the porch can’t be beat! The house itself is very nice, comfortable, and fully stocked with all your kitchen and bathroom needs. Can’t wait to go back!

Well located, cute and clean but maintenance issues

The house was well priced and clean, spacious. Quick walk to beach. Temp inside the unit never went below 75 even though it was set at 72. Sleeping was rather unpleasant. Busted screen on the screened porch meant it was unusable due to bugs. Wish that Vacasa did a better job keeping up its properties.

Best place in Folly Beach

Beautiful, clean and comfortable house. We loved the deck facing the Marsh. Sunsets and interesting birds. Quick walk to the beach or local restaurants. Easy trips to Charleston for seeing the sights.

Wonderful marsh views

The house is right on the marsh, on the backside of Folly. Beautiful views! We had six people in our group. Comfortable stay. House was in great condition. Quick 5 min walk to the beach

We would definitely rent this again!

Good location for the happenings on the island yet far enough away from the noisy bar life. Very nice screened in porch overlooking the marsh. We had one very minor house issue that was quickly resolved by the management company. We primarily used the house as a base to see Charleston and the surrounding area. Downtown Charleston was just a short 20 minutes away.

Beautiful, stocked kitchen, great location!

We loved our stay and were impressed at the beauty of the house and the location. The kitchen was very well stocked. Only negative would be trying to communicate with the property manager prior to our stay. I was never able to speak to someone, and was on hold for hours before giving up several times. Once it was time for our stay, the property management company was very easy to communicate with.
