124 East Cooper is a very special, quaint house and a Folly Beach landmark. Two blocks from the ocean and one block from Folly Beach's town center with local shops, restaurants, and entertainment. You can park your car and walk to all that Folly has to offer. Completely restored top to bottom, the home features high, 10-14 foot ceilings, 650 Sq Ft of living space, beadboard walls, sash-weighted windows and hardwood floors throughout. A classic beach house, but fully renovated. The delicious Chico Feo restaurant with live music is next door, enjoy the fun and vibrant atmosphere just steps away!

The bathroom has been updated with modern fixtures and a large walk-in shower. The retro kitchen has cement counters, a GE Profile gas cook top, and a very cool refrigerator (pun intended). Central heat and air make this classic cottage even more comfortable. Truly a vacation home for any season.

Perched high on a hill, the home is a delight to stay in. With one queen sized bed, the house is cozy just for two people to spend the night and enjoy the beach life. The living room opens to the sunroom and small front porch where there is plenty of space and creates the perfect reading spot.

Covered back porch is right off kitchen and opens to side yard. Two outdoor showers (hot and cold water) are convenient for a quick rinse after beach activities. Wi-fi internet and an iPod player are our tech and entertainment options. Books and puzzles are highly encouraged.

124 East Cooper is strictly non-smoking and not pet-friendly. **Detached 3rd porch near back parking spot is gated & for owner use only!** Amenities include free Wi-Fi, washer, dryer, stove top, outdoor shower, central heat and air conditioning, parking for up to 2 vehicles, and 24-hour emergency on-call staff. Property does not include a TV, oven, nor microwave. No events allowed that exceed the maximum occupancy of the home. Must be 25 years old or older to rent. It was top notch location, though felt very private. We are young honeymooners so being close to the beach and everything going on was perfect. No need to drive/find parking. Huge plus was the outdoor shower for coming back from the beach. The place itself was super quaint and just what we needed! The property management was personable and available, great to communicate with, but gave us space our entire stay.

Our host made this the best experience possible. The little house was perfect for two, so close to the beach, and everything else in town, that we parked our car when we got there and walked. I have nothing but good to commend or stay in Folly Beach.

One of the best vacation houses I have ever experienced! Clean, tidy, well maintained and equipped. The listing initially stated that there was no microwave nor additional toiletries (1 provided) but there was a clean microwave, 2 toasters, sizable fridge, coffee pot with filters, 2 outdoor showers, serene porches/decks, plenty of towels in just the cutest clean, modernized cottage and the most perfect location just a short walk to the beach. It was the ideal stay for me with fantastic restaurants either within walking distance or a short drive. While a came alone for a respite this truly makes a couples’ perfect getaway!

House was as anticipated. Adequate room, clean and well set up. Two blocks to the ocean or the central road. The only surprise was a small very busy restaurant across the street from the home. Live Music on Tuesday night that went till well after 11 pm. Fortunately the house and location made up for a pretty loud neighbor.

The property was within walking distance to all shops/restaurants and the beach! The house is quaint and perfect for just a couple. It does sit directly behind a very popular bar that has live music most nights. It is loud until around 10:30 pm or so. If you don’t mind that, this is the place for you. We will go again because of the location.

If you like live music this is the place for you. The restaurant across the street (Chico Feo) is actually more of an outdoor club with live music that happens to serve food. If you desire a quieter place, this is NOT the place for you. Upside is beach is close and don’t miss Bert’s market.

This is a perfect location and home for a couples get a way! We loved the location, we loved not having a TV. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. My only recommendation is to provide luggage racks or a stand for your luggage. This place is very tiny and you can’t unpack your suitcase bec there are no dressers. I don’t mind leaving my clothes in the suitcase, but there was no place to put them. Yes, there is a closet, but you can’t hang up everything. We ended up setting the ironing board up in the bathroom and placed them on that. Lastly, you need a better shower head and i would recommend a heat lamp in ceiling or closing up the shower a bit…the heat escapes and it’s quite difficult to get warm. Otherwise, we had a great time and look forward to coming back! Don’t forget to visit Chico Feo across the street…incredible! AAnd don’t forget to go catch the sunrise…stunning!

The cottage was perfect; quaint, attractive and very clean. It has all you need for getting away from it all! The home and yard are well maintained! Once inside, you are in your own personal space with the world only steps away; a short walk to the beach and Center St. The location is ideal for shifting from oasis to action with great atmosphere and great food nearby. Pleasant music from a local establishment was enjoyable from the back porch, ends early enough, and is not noisy or disruptive. Despite the near everything location, this home remains quiet and is in a pleasant neighborhood. Easy access to Bert's Market with free coffee and a great selection of easy 'grab n go' healthy foods! The owner, Ed, obviously takes pride in his getaway cottage; lots of nice touches, including his beautiful artwork with added amenities for guest comfort foremost. Ed was awesome in how responsive he was, from our first inquiry and remained helpfully so throughout! He went the extra mile to assure arrival could be as early as possible, following up with an early morning visit and calls to make sure Housekeeping was done and his guests had settled in comfortably and safely! Ed made himself as available as needed, but there was no need; he'd covered it all! And Ed is a very nice man! Thank you to Ed and to his team, especially Rhenda, as they helped follow-up on all the steps towards a wonderful getaway! As frequent visitors to Folly, 20 Aeolus sized family/friend vacation trips since 1987, this is a great couple's or solo location. Would definitely book the cottage again and highly recommend it to everyone who loves Folly!
