You will likely never find a host as welcoming and gracious as Lucia ! She made me feel like family. The rooms were beautiful and having breakfast served on your balcony overlooking the iconic Panagia church is a memory I will never forget.

Absolutely amazing experience in a so wonderful and quiet place, in which you can find everything you are looking for. Mirka, the owner, is so kind , and will give you an extraordinary vacation. Eccezionale sotto ogni punto di vista. Colazione straordinaria e superiore a tutte le altre strutture dell’isola. A due passi dal centro con una piacevole passeggiata raggiungerete ogni luogo dell’isola. Themonies (named after the farms traditional of the island) and Mirka (oh please tell me I spelled your name correctly) were so warm and accommodating! On a map, it seems like its a bit far from Chora, but it is seriously a 5 minute walk so it wasn't a bother in the least. And we honestly enjoyed that we weren't in the center of all the tourist activity - as Folegandros iteself was a bit more touristic than we had expected. Our view was the town of Chora and the monastery from our balcony - it was lovely. The rooms are so spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed. While you will pay a premium for this hotel, if you can swing it, it is worth it. It didn't really bother us that there wasn't a pool as we were at the beach everyday anyway. There was only one long, exhausting day we sort of wished for one, but instead had a lovely nap with the windows open. Mirka was so helpful with booking all of our reservations for us and telling us which beaches to go to and how. Her advice was invaluable - especially when it came to eating out. She also allowed us a late check out and supplied us with umbrellas for the beach every day, free of charge. The breakfast were lovely and very large! I'd recommend this place.
