Radisson Blu Royal Viking Hotel, Stockholm

10/10 Excellent

"Hotel in great location, just metres from the central station which makes it convenient getting around and going to/from airport. Also close to the hop in/off bus stop. Breakfast was excellent quality and good variety of hot/cold options. Only negative was it was advertised as having air conditioning, which was “working” but didn’t do anything to cool the room. We wee provided a fan which helped a little, but in summer the room was quite hot. This won’t be a problem 90% of the year."

"The hotel was spacious and clean. We stayed for five nights and opted in for the additional breakfast which came out to about $200. It also allowed for us to come back for lunch or dinner and receive a 10% discount. My only issue with the hotel is that it’s extremely far from the city. It took us about an hour to an hour and a half to get to Stockholm and old town. However it was super close to the airport and a free shuttle was provided."

"Breakfast was fab, we had a window facing the square, enormous room, so much space. Probably due a touch up, looked like it needed a paint refresh here and there, but otherwise super clean and spacious. Bed was comfy, we had a bathtub which we made use of. Effective blackout curtains too. Couple of small things were we were directly above the bar and the music was quite loud, but never interfered with sleep. Also the fabulous wardrobe hid the coffee/kettle, there was not much surface space to use it and no plug so had to use it on the small dressing table. When using the full length mirror it was in the way of the bathroom door, which was only a problem as we were getting dressed up for an event. Would recommend this place to anyone."

"I stayed here for business. The hotel is in a good central location - easy to access the top attractions. Lots of convenience stores, restaurants and bars in the nearby vicinity. The breakfast was excellent and had a good range of cuisine. The room was cleaned well everyday and comes with a reasonable amount of amenities. The hotel staff were very friendly."
