"Beautiful Property with helpful staff."

"We enjoyed our stay at Grimsborgor. They have hot tubs you can use in the evening. The room was clean and comfortable. The restaurant was nice too. They have a bar, but it is part of the restaurant and you are served by staff when they are not delivering food to tables. This may change depending on the number of guest staying at the hotel."

"Anything this location lacks in luxury is made up for in the solitude and peacefulness of the property. The Private hot tub overlooking a horse and sheep pasture was a great addition. Visually isolated from the road and from all other nearby properties. About 10km outside of town gets you away from the other tourists. GPS did get us close, but the communications and directions provided by the host before our stay were clear and got us right to the property. This was our favorite stay in our 2 weeks in Iceland."
