"We chose this cabin for the cosy part of our winter trip to Iceland. We had the perfect time: aurora borealis dancing over the sky, while we were soaking in the hot pot, lake and mountains covered in snow. The house is so nicely designed, so cosy and lovely. I enjoyed my morning coffee(s) in front of the fire place, reading, while the rest of the family was still sleeping. "This place was awesome! Lovely, cozy and close to several fabulous sites. We should have added extra days at this location given how convenient it is. I especially loved returning after one adventure to find sheep nibbling in the bushes right beside the front porch! Also, the host was very quick to reply and super helpful."

Great hotel for viewing northern lights!

"Family of six from Boston, stayed for 2 nights during Spring Break (April 2025). We stayed in the cottage which was very comfortable. There are plenty of beds for us six, and we got to see northern lights in the first night! Overall an amazing stay and would definitely go back again! The hotel has couple Border Collies on site who are super friendly. We enjoyed petting them :) A few things that could’ve made the stay over-the-top awesome: 1) microwave in the room, 2) on-site or in-room washer/dryer, 3) more food selection for the breakfast buffet. But these aren’t deal breakers for us. We enjoyed the stay a lot without them."
