Since its establishment in 1929 by Dr. Joel Watkins, Fresh Air Barbecue has served millions of barbecue sandwiches to the traveling public, from all over the United States. The menu is very simple with on BBQ, Brunswick Stew and Cole Slaw. Fresh Air Barbecue is known for having one of the shortest menus of any restaurant around. Cole slaw is one of the few major items that have been added to it in the last 80 years.

"We were looking for a place to camp that was secluded and peaceful and that is exactly what we got! The tree house is very well built and was the perfect place to sleep at night. There was a spot with a large fire pit next to the river with a good sized clearing that we hung out and played games in. We opted to get some kayaks and went up and down the river. "Staff was Professional and friendly the property was very clean. The last night we were their we had problems with the key getting into the room they had to call a lock smith to get into the room and still we couldn't use a key we just had to be careful not to let the door close from the outside we could open from thr inside the staff was very professional during it all we would definitely stay there again if in the area again "

"The hallways smelt great, the beds were soft, the room was spacious with ample storage, the staff was kind and the hotel was clean! The breakfast had plenty to choose from. The indoor pool was clean and fun for our kids. I will definitely put this place on my list for future bookings if am ever in McDonough Georgia again! "
