"Such a unique and beautiful place to stay! The location is a little hard to track down as you have to drive down a dirt road, but wasn’t too bad. The house itself was clean and had such an amazing view of the volcano. The kitchen and 2 of the bathrooms are not walled off entirely, so you do get geckos/ frogs that come join you occasionally, but we thought it was a fun adventure! You feel very connected to nature. "The house is old but kept clean and cozy. It is at a high position on the mountain with a good view of the forest and the ocean. We waked up morning with birds' song and the hummingbirds are not afraid of human at all. The meal prepared by Lilliana is very tasty. Our family enjoyed our stay of 2 nights."

"We enjoyed a short stay at this home. Its in the perfect location for rural experience of Costa Rica, but close enough to jump over to La Fortunas tourist trap. We watched the parrots (yellow naped and toucans) play and eat every morning with the volcano backdrop. We also got to see a pizote on our ride into La Fortuna. "Everything about her stay was very good The house is large, the patio is covered so you can sit outside in the daily rain, and there is even a separate building with an upstairs outdoor bedroom. The host was great, very responsive recommended the best brewery maybe in Costa Rica! Great location for all area activities.. A few minor issues but I would absolutely recommend it."

"The place was so amazing, with its majestic views and amenities. The drive up to this please on it own its an adventure, be sure to get a 4x4 vehicle, And use a loca gps app (i recomend Waze). Google maps send us up a wrong hill and caused us to get stuck in the mud. Likely the property managers came to our aid and got us out of the pickle, thanks very much Hugo and family.
