"Let me emphasize that this review is for the Mountain Inn in Iron Mountain, Michigan. There are some bad reviews that are obviously not for this hotel. The building does NOT have homeless people sleeping in the parking lot. The room was clean, the recliner chair was comfortable enough to sleep in. The TV was the largest I ever encountered in a hotel. My only complaint was that the first floor windows don’t open but the A/C worked fine. "

"We had an amazing time playing in the clear swimmable water, catching bluegills, eating on the deck and roasting marshmallows over the fire. We can’t say enough how beautiful the area is, how accommodating the ‘cabin’ and how welcoming a place for our family to get together."
