Great location and lovely room. The breakfast next day was great. My wife left her jacket behind and the staff was super helpful - we got the jacket back when we were passing back through Florence.
The room was lovely and spacious. The breakfast was made to order and was excellent; we weren’t expecting so much choice. The place is convenient to the major sites and 10 min from the train. Our host was great!
Wonderful place to stay! The owner was incredibly accommodating and kindly allowed us to check in early and check out late. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, and the location was perfect—close to the main attractions and within easy reach of some fantastic restaurants. We had a great stay and would highly recommend it!
This was one of the best places I've ever stayed while traveling and I was sorry to stay for just one night. The space was easy to get in and out of, on a quiet street in Florence but not too far away from all of the sites, and close to many great cafes and restaurants.
I had to leave particularly early in the morning and Francesco had breakfast ready early for me which was so kind. The bed was comfortable, amenities were great, including the shower products. Hope to stay here again on a future visit to Florence!
A perfectly quaint spot in Florence. Good walking distance to the major attractions and very convenient having breakfast in the space. I felt very welcomed here!

Decent hotel but not amazing. Great location walking distance from multiple piazzas.
The hotel was spotless and Francesco could not so enough for us! The breakfast was delicious, not a lot of variety but delicious! Location was perfect for us!
The property is gorgeous! Such a lovely decor and the beds were so comfortable. The beds have a topper on them and good sized smart tvs also. The hotel is about 12 mins away from the the Santa Firenze station which connects to Pisa Airport, Pisa Centrale and Viareggio beach.
The breakfast left a little to be desired when I stayed. I would suggest either ordering in the morning or arriving at breakfast early so it is fresh.
Other than that, it’s a very stylish hotel.
Enjoyed our stay:) great, central location close to most of the main tourist sites but also walkable to main train station. Staff was friendly and very accommodating— appreciated the personal touch of daily breakfast made to order (from their menu selection). Would recommend to others!
Amazing stay to kick off our honeymoon! We loved the breakfast and how easy it was to access the location. The city centre is around a 10-15-minute walk away and easy to get to everything from here. Beds & pillows SO comfy and blanket was cozy too. We will stay here again next time we are in florence
We loved our time at The Wheels, and would highly recommend anyone visiting Florence to stay here. The entire space is beautifully designed and the location is perfect. It’s close to great restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping, but just far enough away that it is quiet at night. Francesco was extremely hospitable and went above and beyond with great recommendations for both Florence and our upcoming travels. The breakfast was wonderful and the perfect way to start each day!
Room was very clean and the breakfast was excellent. Location was also very convenient. Host was very helpful and provided very good suggestions about the area. Only negatives were there was no daily room cleaning or fresh towels provided. The rooms and entire facility is a bit noisy (everything is a hard surface that does not absorb sound). Could easily hear anytime another door outside our room opened/closed and also hear others talking.
I would definitely recommend this place. First of all, it's a beautiful hotel. The staff were incredibly kind and always took the time to listen whenever we had a problem. You also get a level of freedom that you don't usually find at other hotels. You're pretty much left to enjoy your stay on your own, but in a good way.
The hotel is about a 12-minute walk from the city center, but there are plenty of great local restaurants nearby, which made the experience even better.
The only small issue I had was with the air conditioning. I couldn't quite figure it out—it always seemed to be either too cold or too warm. That might just have been me, though.
The breakfast was also really good.
Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely come back. This review is from two friends, aged 18 and 19.
Francesco was amazing from the time of booking with giving restaurant recommendations and the easy online checkin. Communicated everyday for options for breakfast and provided everything we needed would definitely stay again and highly recommend. Hotel was clean and so was the room and very easy to get around in the area.
Everything was perfect! The room has all the necessary amenities, the staff are very polite and helpful, and the location is incredible, as it's close to the centre, so you can walk everywhere.
I'll definitely be back soon!
TheWheels Florence Hotel was a fantastic stay – the location is perfect, walking distance to all the main sites and for exploring the city. The staff were absolutely amazing. Everyone was super friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. Highly recommended!
