This was a beautiful, spacious and very clean apartment. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The host Gabriele was great and any messages were responded to promptly. The door locks were a bit tricky, but once we were used to which lock turned which way it wasn't an issue. I also love the area the apartment is located in - close enough to the train station, and also lots of great restaurants and cafes in the area. Many main attractions in Florence are also within walking distance. I will definitely look to rebook this apartment next time we are in Florence!

Great Stay!

The apartment was close to everything while still being quiet. Communication was fast and easy and check-in was a breeze! Would recommend to anyone coming to Florence.

Great apartment!

We enjoyed our recent stay and would book it again! The location was very convenient for the train station, groceries, and anything in the city. The apartment was exactly as advertised. The washer/dryer was very convenient!

The place was very centrally located, and it was just a 10-15 minute walk to the main areas. The house was well equipped and very clean with everything we needed. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay.

Great apartment, close to SMN station

Great, newly renovated apartment in walking distance to SMN train station, restaurants, Duomo, etc. Bathroom, kitchen and room was clean. AC worked well. Could use some better pillow options however. Overall great stay and would recommend.

Met Our Needs Perfectly

We were looking for a place slightly away from the center of the city but close enough to walk to all the major sites and this location fit the bill. It was very clean and on a quiet street. We would definitely recommend.

Very clean and nice

Shower, bed and kitchen all very clean and comfortable. Location very close to train station and also to the centre. Street can be a bit noisy but not too much.

Quaint apartment in Santa Maria Novella Florence

My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay in the Romeo apartment. It had everything we needed for our stay in Florence. Location is close to the train station and not far from the main attractions. Gabriele, the apartment owner, was very communicative and helpful whenever I had questions about the property and check-in process. Definitely would stay here again if we come back to Florence!

This apartment is in a great location and easy to check in to. My only gripe is about the shared washing machine (shared use between two apartments), and the fact that the cleaner of the apartments uses the washing machine on most days for 2.5 hours; this can make it difficult to get to use the machine

Perfect Venice Stay

My partner and I had a wonderful time in Venice. The highlights of the apartment were location, spaciousness, and cleanliness. The host was incredible helpful accommodating us with an early check in and clear check out/trash instructions. The location is central to everything and made it super easy to get to Murano with it's close access to various water bus spots. Although we did not use the kitchen, it was well stocked and spacious for easy dinners in as well. I highly recommend this apartment!

We enjoyed our stay in Florence at Romeo’s Place

We loved Romeo’s apartment, it is in a great location! Only 6 minutes walk from the Santa Maria Novella train station and walking distance to the major sites. The check in was very well organized. We appreciate the folder with information regarding Wi-Fi and other instructions for the apartment. Only thing you need to be aware of is that it’s on the second floor and there are stairs. It was fine for us, we would stay there again.

Comfortable Place ~ Good Location

The apartment is very comfortable for one or two people. The fan could use a little help, as it makes noise even on low, but the AC works. I did not realize it has about 34 stairs to climb, so it can be a lot if you're older or have lots of luggage. But it's an easy walk to the river and train station. Plus, all the lovely places to visit in Florence.

Lovely apartment in great location

Lovely clean apartment that's really close to main areas in Florence. The area can get a bit noisy as there are quite a lot of drunk people hanging around outside but we still felt safe. The apartment is well equipped but could have done with a kettle to make coffee. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice apartment close to the centre of Florence.

Florence stay

We enjoyed our stay here in Florence. It was an easy walk from the train station and then to the piazza, galleries, restaurants and main sights. The roomy apartment was very nice. We did have trouble with the check-in directions and wish they had been a bit more specific. But when we needed assistance, we were able to reach the owner and get help immediately. The apartment is on a fairly busy street and could be a bit loud at night. But we would still recommend staying here.

We loved our stay in Florence. Gabriele was brilliant with any thing we asked or needed. The unit was as pictured. No surprises. Met expectations. Location is good but the locals tend to live it up in the street to late hours. So with windows open it gets a bit loud.

4 weeks in Florence

Gabriel was very helpful and answered any of my questions quite quickly both before I went and after I arrived. The unit was everything it was advertised to be. It was very clean and comfortable and had everything I needed to make myself at home. The location was excellent. A short walk to the historic district and the river. Having the washer available was very convenient and meant that I didn’t have to pack as much as I normally would. I would stay there again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient location.

We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment. It is very beautiful which I don’t think the pictures do justice to just how nice it is. The bed is comfortable for both short and tall people as my partner is 6’2 and it was within walking distance to most things in the city of Florence. The space is very clean and has everything you need for a short or long stay, and the shower is nice as well. The host recommended a lovely breakfast place that we really enjoyed and was very responsive when I had questions. The only things I would note are that there are no curtains/shade to the bedroom windows so the neighbors across the way can see right in if they want to. Also if you a sensitive to noise you may want earplugs as the street is lively even in the early morning hours from people walking home from a night out etc., though it was not bothersome for us. There are stairs to entry but that is normal for apartments in Italia.

Amazing, modern and clean

Check IN and check out process super smooth! The apartment has everything you need, very comfortable, CLEAN, modern, great location, walking distance from main attractions and monuments. Host was very nice and was very responsive to all my questions. Even had an entire book guide with local recommendations and house rules. Please note you are staying on a apartment that could be 100+ years old so don’t freak out getting in to your apartment as again, it is really old so no is not as nice as you would expect. But once you are inside your apartment (3rd floor) you will feel like home.

Santa Maria Novella

We had a great stay at this VRBO. This was a very nice, recently renovated apartment. The apartment was well kept, the kitchen (even though we didn't use it) has all the amenities that you would want for a meal or breakfast. It was a easy walk from the train station (8 mins - a real plus), and all the major museums and sites were 20-40 mins(40 was to get to Piazzale Michelangelo). Good value for the cost. The only drawback is that the apartment was on the second floor, so you will need carry up the two flights of stairs to the apartment. We would definitely consider it again.
