this characteristic 60 sqm apartment is located on the fourth and top floor of a building of only 4 apartments with an important peculiarity it is equipped with a private:
ELEVATOR very useful on your arrival with your bags and on your return home after having made your excursions to the discovery of Florence or maybe after going up to the dome of the Duomo.

BED ROOM -with single bed and bedside wardrobe. the view of the window is a beautiful open-air painting on the hills of Fiesole.

LIVING ROOM - in addition to the round solid wood table, chairs, flat screen TV, there is the sofa that can become a single bed for 1 people (very comfortable for sleeping: with wooden slats)

KITCHEN - livable with a second extendable rectangular table, chairs and is equipped with all steel cooking equipment, refrigerator, freezer, small appliances, Microwave Washing- machine with short cycles of even 15 minutes.

BATHROOM - Sink integrated in the white lacquered cabinet, large mirror, bidet, toilet and shower cubicle.

FACILITIES -Independent heating and air conditioning: (one split in the kitchen one in the living room and the other in the double bedroom) free WIFI connection. Armored security door and intercom.

S. MARIA NOVELLA STATION is 900 meters from the apartment and can be reached in 15 minutes on foot or by taxi. From the Station it is possible to take in addition to the trains, also the Sita (Pulman) useful for reaching the nearby towns of Tuscany.

7 perfect days in Florence

Alfani House was perfect in every way. The accommodation is clean and well equipped. The location is within walking distance of all the major attractions. The host was very pleasant, helpful and responsive to our calls. Adriana was most helpful securing a cab upon departure when cabs were hard to find. She went above and beyond.

Comfortable and well-appointed

The apartment is conveniently located and well appointed - there's a good range of utensils for anyone eating in. Being on the top floor, there are no footsteps overhead. Guests using the front (double) bedroom need to remember their earplugs as the noise from the street (particularly garbage collections) are 24-hour! I'd happily return there.

Wonderful Apartment!

Perfect location for our stay in Florence. The apartment was spacious and had everything we could possibly need. Easy walking to the Duomo and great restaurants and bars. Would love to stay again next time we are in Florence!

Comfortable apartment close to all sites in Florence

Adriana was really helpful in explaining everything about the apartment & elevator. The apartment is large and has everything needed for a long or short stay. The location is fantastic for access to all the sites in Florence, however the street is very noisy especially at night. I had to sleep in the back bedroom due to the noise. It was completely quiet in the back of the apartment.

Great location!

This apartment is clean and very convenient to all of the hotspots in Florence. You can walk everywhere! The host was lovely and quick to respond to messages. There was a heat wave while we there so it was difficult for the air conditioning to keep up but even the locals said it was unseasonably hot.

Location, Location, Location

Charming elevator building, 4th floor apartment with two bedrooms. Adriana was very kind and helpful. The shower is a bit small, but it worked fine. Even though the building is quite old, the decor has a mid-20th Century charm. Around the corner from the Statue of David, it couldn’t be more convenient. We found terrific restaurants , a pharmacy within a block, a grocery store around the corner, and a cafe that was charming just around the corner.

Excellent Location

The location was very nice, it was close to restaurants and sights. It seemed like a true old Italian home. There was a lot of street noise from the front rooms but the single bedroom in the back was nice and quiet for our daughter. The only issue was lots of dust from the construction on the street and the remodel next door and some mold in the bathroom.

Beautiful Apartment and Great Location!

We enjoyed an excellent stay at this apartment. It was situated in an amazing location close to all of the sites and museums. The host was lovely, responsive, helpful, and provided useful recommendations. The kitchen had everything you need to cook at home and the place is historic and well kept. If we were to return to Firenze we would love to stay here again. We would highly recommend it to others visiting this amazing city!

Ideal location, fantastic host!

Terrific place to stay in Florence that is close to all the major sites. Our family of 4 stayed there and loved it. The apartment was very clean and the 2 beds and pull-out couch all were comfortable. We cooked a few meals in the kitchen and found groceries and restaurants all nearby. Adriana, the host, is awesome and really took care of us. Her communication and kindness just made our stay so easy and pleasant. Having a host as accommodating as Adriana makes all the difference. We would stay here again for sure and highly recommend it to anyone.

Amazing location

It was a fun apartment filled with character (including the elevator to the top floor). Everything was an easy walk away and we found lovely restaurants and shops moments away from the front door. A little bit noisy at night from party goers in the streets below but nothing that ear plugs couldn’t handle. Adriana was a gracious and patient host. A good stay.

Location

The apartment was very nice and affordable, but what makes this property special is it's location, location, location. My wife and I are both in our 70's and we could walk to all of the sites in 15 minutes or less. The elevator while small, was large enough for my wife and I to both use together all the time.

Excellent location and Wonderful Host

This apartment is in a fantastic location. Only 5 to 15 minute walk to just about all major attractions. Adriana is a perfect host. She allowed us to check in early since the previous guests checked out early. We very much appreciated the ability to check in early and drop off our bags. She even called us a taxi on our departure date and waited with us until the taxi arrived. So sweet!

Eastertime in Florence

We recently stayed at this property. The location was amazing and things were just as we expected. Clean. Easy check-in and great support from Adriana. Our only complaint is that there is a lot of street noise with this property. Since it was a holiday weekend, the streets were more crowded, but it was hard to sleep. Not really much to be done about it. Just deal. It was worth it to be so close to things. We would return to this property if ever in Florence again.

3rd leg of our Italy trip

My family and I stayed in Florence before finishing our Italy trip in Rome. The place was great and it was so close to many of historical sites and landmarks, restaurants, and public transportation. Having an elevator in the building and a washer inside of the apartment was a plus. Adriana was very sweet and accommodating. She saw that we were tired and hungry from traveling and even offered to cook for us when we arrived. (We didn’t let her of course, but it was nice that she even offered in the 1st place) She gave us complete privacy, but also made it known that she was available if needed. She gave some great recommendations and tips. We communicated with her through WhatsApp. We would definitely stay here again in the future. Thank you Adriana, Grazie Mille!

Great area, but not worth it in the summer

Adriana’s place was in a fantastic area for seeing some of the top attractions in Florence. Everything is within walking distance. Adriana was responsive, but unable to fix some of our concerns. If we had come at another time of year, we might give a different review. However, temperatures were around 100 degrees F. The description said it had air conditioning. There were 2 units- one in the kitchen and one in the living area. The kitchen worked fair at best, but the living area didn’t. And nothing reached the bedrooms. After informing the host about this, she had a technician come to check it but said it couldn’t be fixed. She gave us ice to use with a fan/humidifier unit, but it didn’t help. We had to open the windows at night (temps still in the 80’s, but cooler than inside). Street noise was disrupting with trash trucks coming at very early hours. After walking outside in those temps, we needed a place to come to to relax and cool down, and we couldn’t. After reading some other reviews, it seems like we weren’t the only ones who’ve experienced this. It needs to be fixed. The unit was overall clean but the shower had some mold issues. Nothing is really new or updated if you’re looking for that- personally, I don’t care as long as things work and it’s clean and comfortable. We had to wait out in the heat for the host to meet us to let us in. Adriana was friendly, just unable to meet our needs.
