Friendly/Helpful staff, not to far to walk to the main areas but there is regular trams 1min away if required. WiFi was good and reliable throughout. Could be more variety at breakfast. Great stay overall.

Hotel is in walking distance to the Florence Central market, the old town and other locations. Breakfast has a good selection with excellent, freshly baked goods. Quiet room with very comfortable firm beds and very stable wifi. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Would select it again anytime..

Todo excelente incluyendo el desayuno, el cual es tipo buffet con todo lo esencial para quedar satisfecho. La ubicación no es tan cercana de los puntos turísticos, pero caminando todo queda a 15 min. igual que hacia la estación de tren, un taxi cobra de 20~25€. Cuenta con elevador y el personal habla Italiano, inglés y entienden el español. Es buena opción en relación precio calidad y para estar de paso por la ciudad. Volvería sin dudarlo. Le doy 4 estrellas porque el aire acondicionado no enfriaba ni tampoco el refrigerador y en esta época de calor es indispensable.

It was 100F outside and our room was on the top floor with the air conditioner not working properly. The staff stated they could do nothing about it and gave us a few fans in the room but the room was very hot. This was not expected for the price we paid to stay there.

I will not book this hotel ever again because of one staff member. I get it that it was 40° outside but as a customer who paid full price to book this hotel, I expected the AC to work. I even gave it three hours to cool down the room however it did not work. I brought up the issue to the management. The girl who had checked us in was very helpful. Her name is Gisele and she deserves a raise. She offered a room fan and even brought it in, but I told her the issue remains the same that the room fan will be blowing hot air and it will be very hard for my family to stay in this room. She then offered another room in adjoining property. We went to check it out the AC seem to work and I asked her if we can also get the room fan in addition to the AC. She said she can check if that is possible then we went back to Hotel Bonifácio and she asked the male manager if a room fan was a possibility. I don’t know if that guy had come into work in a bad mood or he was flustered due to the heat, but he turned around and shook his head. Then he looked at me and he said in frustrationwhy do you need a fan? Are you sick? You know it’s 40° outside and you expect the room to be at 18°. I replied ‘no’ but I expect the room to be comfortable for my family to sleep at night. He was the rudest person I have ever come across in my life in the Hotel management Business. I understand that the heat was unbearable, but if you as a manager is unable to bear that, think about your guests.

A pleasant hotel but with few amenities. Breakfast was dissapointing. During the evening when I asked for creamer or milk for tea I was just told no and the receptionist promptly went back to his phone screen. Although the property was ok the other bits let it down

Our only complaints are that the AC wasn’t very good and it was very hot, and that they didn’t change our sheets or towels the whole time we were there (3 nights). But the location was awesome, check in was efficient and they kept our bags safe.
