"All around easy to navigate and check in as always. The room was clean. The pool looked busy. It was (Labor Day weekend) We ordered takeout from the Wolfgang puck restaurant before and it was great! This time we decided to dine in and the experience wasn’t something we’d like to do again. The hotel staff was helpful and always welcoming. The restaurant staff we encounter with that day just felt off and a little uncomfortable. Food and drinks were good and presentation was beautiful. We normally book Brownwood whenever we’re in town bc we love the aesthetics and friendly staff of the hotel. This one time experience won’t stop us from coming back. We love brownwood too much."

"In the defense of the hotel, considering they are still in the middle of rebuilding after a few hurricanes back to back, we stayed on the golf course side in a loft when I first got there I did have to do some cleaning because there were spots and a lot of dead bugs all around the walls along the baseboards, I think the worst thing was which is first world problems was the Wi-Fi not working correctly and our defense it was opening day of college football so it mattered a lot to have the TV working and not have to switch between phone, cast, and Wi-Fi TV , other than that our stay was above and beyond perfect it couldn’t have been any better. The staff was excellent."

"I been staying here since September 6th, 2026. And Darby & Chelsea are awesome. When I first got here Darby noticed that I was having some issues with my ex and she asked him nicely if he wasn't staying then he needed to go. Her and Chelsea have went above and beyond for me. As long as they are here I will keep coming back. And the rest of the staff are also very nice and sweet. Always saying good morning when you walk past them. Awesome place to stay"

"My Husband and I booked this hotel for a weekend getaway last minute. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the location to see all the shops and restaurants on sight. Everything is new so not all the businesses were open quite yet. The property was very clean and adequately staffed. It had wonderful amenities to choose from. Our room was very clean and had "almost" everything we needed. Don't want to sound like a complainer but you need to know that the rooms do not have coffee makers or microwaves. They do have complementary coffee down in the lobby for registered guests and food options for purchase. Overall we would definitely stay here again! We had a wonderful stay!"
