"We booked this place so that we would be close to the puffin colony. We were lucky to get a newer cabin and it was quite nice. Much more spacious than the hotels we had been staying in. We got carry out from the Salt restaurant and enjoyed our meal at the cabin. Nice and quiet place with a view."

"We had a really great experience here and the best mattresses we've found by far. This is the 5th night in Iceland for us and the previous 4 hotels the mattresses were not good at all. This hotel was lovely in every respect. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The continental breakfast they offered was probably the nicest one I've ever had - anywhere. Good water, good tv, good location, nice hotel :-)"

"Two nights in eastern Iceland - The layout was cleverly designed to accommodate different’classes’ of service - campers, dorm rooms and couples/families. The food was limited but excellent and the hosts were very kind and caring. There were programs in the bar / restaurant both nights but they ended well before bedtime and added to the fun.
