"The rooms where beautiful. Upon arrival we got told they had upgraded our room. The room was amazing the staff where all friendly, We had the full english the next morning and this is a must its lovely! Overall fantastic stay and we will definitely be back! "

"The rooms are in outbuildings to the main pub. The old brick buildings are clearly worn, with paint chipping, large cracks in the ceiling, large stains on the carpet and generally in need of a refurb. The furniture is in a good state of repair and the bed is super comfortable. No fans available despite it being August and in the mid 20’s. Have stayed in a Marston Inn previously and had an excellent experience, however this one was well off the mark."

"This was an older building, so it had a few areas that didn’t work well. (Room size, the loo, noisy hallway) The staff is excellent, eager to help and quickly answered any questions we had. The food in the pub was very nice and the service was great. "

"Well what a surprise we hadn’t expected much as we paid a very reasonable price. Arrived and was shown up to our room, very friendly service. We stayed in the cappuccino room. The room was lovely, great size & really light and airy. "The room was a good size with plenty of room for 2 people to stay comfortably. There was a fridge with a large bottle of drinkable tap water. The bed was okay but I have a bad back so brought a single topper with me. The staff were lovely and helpful. The TV remote wasn’t working so the lady swapped it for me. She also got me an extra bottle of water every day."
