"We needed a last minute place to stay before flying from Munich and this Pension ended up being one of the best accomodations of our whole 7 week trip! Fantastic for our young kids (2y & 4m) with indoor and outdoor play areas, and a very large comfortable family hotel room. Breakfast was truly incredible!!"

"Room was clean but dated, with random screw sticking 1 cm out of the floor carpet, creating a trip/cut hazard. Breakfast, which we paid for, was not served until 800 am, and we had to leave for the airport at 700 am, so received no breakfast. Not even coffee was available at 700 am, as far as we could tell. No gasthaus staff were present when we checked in at 600 pm or when we left at 700 am, and the restaurant was not operating. "

"A poor choice by us. No sense of comfort after a long drive along the Alpenstrasse. Old mis-matched and shabby furniture. I’ve stayed in worst places but don’t remember when. Poor choice of food (breakfast) in cramped dining conditions. Think they were doing their best, but just not a good standard of accommodation "

"Die Gastwirte sind so freundlich, boten uns wegen späten Zug an uns vom Bahnhof abzuholen. Das Zimmerist sehr groß, hat viele Steckdosen🎉, eine Kochnische und ein sehr schönes geräumiges Bad, einen Balkon und ein tolles Frühstück. "The property is accurately described and the apartment is furnished with everything that is needed for an extended stay. It is an easy walk down the hill to Ellmau from the apartment. The mountain views from the apartment are spectacular. The owner is very easy to communicate with and always responds in a timely fashion. Our stay was for three days and we hope to return again. Highly recommended!"
