Saddington Tunnel on the Grand Union Canal, Leicestershire. One of three tunnels on this stretch of the Grand Union Canal. The others are Crick Tunnel in SP5972 and Husband Bosworth Tunnel in SP6384. In 1796 James Barnes was called in to assess the line of Saddington Tunnel. He judged it was not straight but did not consider the problem serious. See 220283 for the other end of the tunnel.
