  • My dad's friend owns a really cool karting circuit in Pageas, a few kilometres from Chalus where I grew up in France. They are both hunters. I know this is not everyone's cup of tea, but a lot of people from that generation in rural France do like hunting, fishing, fetching mushrooms. There are woodlands all around the karting circuit. My dad and his friend have built some platforms in the trees, and from mid-October to mid-November they go there every morning to shoot migrating birds. Those ones are some sort of wood pigeons going from Eastern Europe / Russia to North Africa. I did my own shooting that morning... with my camera! The sunrise was spectacular with some nice pink colours and mist in the valley.

Deuxième séjour au Clos de l'ARTHONNET dans le cadre d'un déplacement professionnel. .Hotes très accueillants. J'apprécie beaucoup la cuisine d'été très bien équipée et la terrasse extérieure ombragée qui est un lieu d'échange avec les autres résidents

Excellent séjour au Clos de l'ARTHONNET avec un couple d'hotes tres accueillants, ouverts et sympahiques avec qui j'ai beaucoup échangé. Merci. L'environnement est propice au calme et a la nature. On peut y retrouver a quelques metres des anes et des moutons ... J'ai sejourné 4 nuits dans le cadre d'un deplacements professionnel dans le secteur. Chambre tres propre et renovée avec literie de tres bonne qualité. J'ai particulierement apprécié la possibilité de pouvoir bénéficier de la terrasse /auvent / cuisine d'été exterieure dans laquel on trouve tous les ustensiles et commodités ( frigo, gazinière ...) pour se faire à manger. Diner et petits dejeuner pris presque au milieu des champs : la classe ! Si je suis amené a revenir dans le secteur il est certain que je referai un stop a Flavignac !
