"A lovely little cottage on Uig Bay owned by the hoteliers of the Uig Hotel. A wonderful breakfast was included at the hotel a 10-15 minute walk away. Our room had an ensuite and a beautiful view of the bay. Parking was easily accessible. Information on dining, historic places, hikes, pubs, etc. was readily available from the hotel staff. Service & staff were exceptional. If there was ever a place to get lost & press the reset button, the Isle of Skye was it for us! Enchanting."

"We had a fantastic stay at Taigh Duitseach in April 2024. Checking in was very easy, the property was lovely and clean, the breakfast was exceptional and lovingly cooked in front of us by Jim and Paulline who were very kind and welcoming. We were only on Skye for 72 hours so we'll definitely be coming back and would feel lucky to stay here again next time!"

"My friend and I had a great stay in early June. The location is somewhat isolated but nothing is really close together on Isle of Skye anyway so it didn’t matter (we had a rental car). It did mean it was quiet and beautiful! Very clean and it seems like a lot of love goes into the property. Good communal areas. I was thoroughly impressed by the breakfast. "This is a quiet, rural location near the ocean and accessed via single track. The room was spacious, clean and well maintained. Comfy bed. Breakfasts were varied and quite good. The hosts are super. You'll have to drive to find dining options but there are many within a 15-minute drive. "
