"If you’re looking for “fancy,” this is not it. If instead you are looking for something homey, charming, and authentically Bavarian, this is excellent. Three other details: First, it’s worth noting that this is not remote, like the pictures might make you think; it’s on the main road that passes through the town, and there is mild noise of cars with your window open. Second, the pool is a community pool about a 20 minute walk away in the same small town. It’s very nice, and I recommend it....

"The host was very nice and breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed a coffee as we watched the sun rise hit the mountains from the comfort of their assigned tables. Our host Renee was phenomenal and spoke very good English. The front desk is closed on Wednesday so if you plan to check in on Wednesday you will need to use cell service or use an app like whatsApp to call them. "

"Great location. Old building, but that is ok. Main issues was pricy compared with what you get: cleanliness was very bad. I did the check-in on Thursday and first time they went to the room to clean it was on Saturday. The bed sheet was like a net and transparent (poked thru). Everything but hygienic. Everybody was smoking inside.The breakfast was really poor. No English!"

"We cannot say enough good things about the Faneskla and the owners who run it. The property is beautiful and spotless. The location is amazing in a small, gorgeous town. We sat on our balcony and listened to the adjacent brook, and looked at the beautiful landscape. We loved it so much that we extended our stay. We will absolutely return. "

"We were very impressed with our two rooms, especially considering the modest price. The rooms were modern looking with all the conveniences we needed. We would highly recommend this property. The only minor problem that we had was at check-in. We were supposed to receive an email giving us information to check in and enter our rooms. "All was good except we found some broken glass on the floor which a friend's 3 year old daughter managed to put in her mouth thinking it was snow/ice. Pool area very nice, good hot tub area. View was of a car park and petrol station rather than mountains as described but COOP was handy for food, as very well stocked."
