The downtown location is close to a nice coffee place and just a couple blocks from a nice walking trail along the Mississippi River. "The house was as described. Mind you the railroad runs between the house and the lake and trains run often. Even so, the noise was not disturbing to those in the upstairs bedrooms. The downstairs bedroom could you another door, but guests were able to sleep well. "

"The location was perfect for what we visited for. We were here to visit the wineries ( up and down the Mississippi) and local areas were our friends grew up. The only draw back were the stairs. As couples in our mid 60’s to mid 70’s the stairs up to the loft are a little bit of a challenge BUT we managed them just fine. "
