"This adorable cottage was perfect for my husband, 2 small dogs, and me. We docked our fishing boat. Put the dogs on runs and basically lived in the back yard. It was quiet and somewhat shielded from neighbors. The outdoor dining room under the porch was an unexpected gem. The cottage is small, particularly the bedrooms. "The house worked out great as an alternative to getting several hotel rooms, allowing the family to all be together during graduation weekend. The lake view was beautiful, and wish we could have taken advantage of it more, but didn't have the time. Would definitely return if back in the area."

"Location has the potential to be great but it is run down and needs A LOT of work. From first walking in, refrigerator was so dirty/dusty you could run your finger down it and have a film on your hand. Wood flooring in kitchen area is warped because of an obvious leak in the ceiling. Ceiling in the kitchen has brown water stains in the ceiling, floor tiles in the upstairs bathroom are cracked, ants kept coming in from outside, food left in the fridge and trash was left in and on the garbage can,...

"We booked for UConn graduation weekend, our daughter’s friend and her parents stayed with us. Lovely peaceful location, beautiful lake, spring flowers, gorgeous! House was as listed, everything perfect for us! Made for an excellent weekend! We wished we were here for a week longer :)"
