I am very disappointed with my recent stay due to misleading room information. I specifically booked a King Room with a kitchenette based on Expedia’s photos and description. To avoid any issues, I called the hotel twice before arrival and was told the King Suite I booked did include a kitchenette.
When I arrived, I was given a standard King Room with no kitchenette. This was especially frustrating since we stayed multiple nights and brought food to cook. No solution was offered that night, and we were told the front desk could not resolve the issue because the booking was through Expedia. As a result, we had to spend additional money eating out.
We were moved to the correct room the next day at the same price, but no compensation or adjustment was made. We also experienced issues with the TV, problems with the toilet in the first room, and staff often could not provide clear answers. The hotel is under renovation, yet pricing did not reflect this, and rates appeared inflated for New Year’s.
Had the listing photos and confirmed information been accurate, this situation would have been avoided. We made the best of it, but the experience was disappointing, and some form of compensation is warranted.
