"They sprung that our 8 day stay had to be paid in cash. It said they take credit cards but not from Americans I guess. The bed was extremely hard. We did have a balcony which was very nice and we spent a lot of time on it. Our cleaning lady, Lucy, was amazing. She was very friendly and always tried to make sure everything was okay. We adored her. Carlos the security guard was very friendly and when they were playing loud music upstairs he went and got it turned down. Overall a good experience."

"I enjoyed the afternoon sun on the balcony. The condo was just across the street from the Pacific Ocean and the walkway that goes for miles. On the 15th floor you have some space from the vibrant street life to relax."

"The apartment is in a useful location, only 2 blocks from the beach and near to restaurants, atm, convenience store, and a pharmacy. Convenient and safe. It has an elevator and electronic door locks that take a moment to figure out how to get the keypad to display. Self parking was easy. We had no problems with theft. There is construction going on nearby (as is everywhere) but was of no impact. The property is located between 2 event centres (La Ferro Jardín & Atlantis Event Centre) which had loud music until about 1am on three nights. The room #9 was not furnished as pictured. The kitchen has wood cabinets, there is no chandelier, no coffee tables, no art work. The paint was peeling on the walls by the windows, and it was not very clean. There was a problem 2 days with the water pump so there was no tap water or ability to flush the toilet each time. It was promptly fixed each time (within 4 hours). The #9 had a shower hot water tap valve broken, so we shut the master valve off to the hot water tank in order to shut the shower off. We had to prove that we had 2 adults booked to get the second bed’s linen. There was no hairdryer, nor was one provided when asked. Gabriela (property manager) was polite and responsive. The rooftop patio has a charcoal grill (you buy your own). There are not any tables, chairs, nor any loungers for resting on the roof patio. Handy location but noisy. "

"Clean and very convenient hotel, right on the Playa Norte malecón. Wonderful, helpful staff. Note that there is a lot of traffic and banda noise; you get used to it after a few days. This is typical of Mexican holiday destinations - bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. Great place, but the rooms are definitely not soundproof!"

"The friendly staff is managed by the English-speaking morning desk attendant, who thoughtfully put this "old guy" into a ground floor room. He also obtained a cab to the airport for me at the end of my stay. I've stayed here twice, so I can attest the rooms are clean and everything in them (TV, toilet & sink spigots, overhead fan, AC/de-humidifier/ventilator & hot water shower) work just fine. You'll not likely have a window, but the location is a mere 10 minute walk from a major beach plus the old town's Mercado (a major market with inexpensive upstairs restaurants). Nothing fancy here, but easily affordable. "

"Okay here we go, I’m so bad with my words! But from the minute we arrived to mazatlan we were welcomed with big & happy smiles! Checking in was a breeze, staff was very friendly. Location is amazing, condo is beautiful with amazing views! Couldn’t have asked for anything else!"
