Upgrading to better rooms may only get you robes and slippers, but for some people thats a worthwhile thing, and there are some bigger rooms too"

"Driving up the driveway to MacDonald Houston House is most impressive and had a lovely welcome at reception. Room allocation was a fun mission to find ☺️ Room size is so grand and the 16th century bar setting is so quaint. Stayed for 2 nights which included the spa facilities which from the outside looks late 80s aged but I enjoyed having the spa facilities included. "
