"The view is what sells the apartment .. it's all downhill from there really. Or should I say 'uphill' as there are 53 steps and 4 potholed paths to get to and from the top apt. Had the number of steps been advertised I would not have booked a stay at the Cove. There is quite a lot of noise from the road and railway which runs right outside. If the look they were going for was 'shabby chic' .. they certainly achieved 'Shabby' ! Walls marked and plaster crumbling away in various places. ...

are great. The town itself can't compete with the stores or restaurants of Kalk Bay or Simon's Town, but they are closeby. We had a rental car during our stay, which made visiting the nearby towns and Table Mountain National Park convenient."
