"excellent hotel for business travel or holiday !"

"Hotel Sonnenberg was very clean and its location on the hill provided wonderful views, even though it rained the whole timescale were there. The breakfast was excellent and the staff members were all so helpful with helping us with directions, figuring out transportation, etc. I highly recommend this hotel and even better if you have a vehicle, as it’s a bit outside of Lucerne. Still manageable even if you don’t have a vehicle, though, with Uber in to town. "

"The landscape around is amazing, so beautiful. The street to get to the hotel is extremely narrow with cliffs on the sides. The bathrooms are across the hallway. There no dark shades in the windows so the morning light can disturb you. The room keys are the old type and require some skills to manage it. The hotel is ok to be far from the city noise. "

"This isn’t a hotel but a hostel. There is no shower or bathroom in the room. I never seen any like that in over 20 years. It’s unacceptable especially since it wasn’t disclosed before arrival! The staff were friendly and the location was good. But also No (real) parking, meaning you had to park public which required resets g the parking clock every 1.5 hours. I made it work for me since I could park at my friends house but the fact that nothing of this is properly disclosed prior is terrible!!"
