Riverside Lodge Hotel

"First time here , but the rooms were fairly spacious , clean, and I always check mattress! Excellent , good lighting , lovely bathroom items provided , shampoo etc, my only wish would be that the shower wasn’t in the bath ! Due to bad knees , but water hot and good pressure , tea coffee fasciitis provided in room , we ate in the restaurant , food was great , well priced , and hot on arrival. Breakfast included , buffet style , good , plenty on offer , ( but the tea was not very warm , ) all in all great value for money , very friendly staff in all areas , and I’d definitely stay here next visit to Irvine . ⭐️"

"Lovely clean, spacious and comfy room. I really liked the tunnocks mallow cake and caramel wafer left each day - a nice touch. We had a delicious breakfast and dinner too. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. It was a lovely short stay for our walking holiday."

"Staff very friendly and helpful. The property is dated but the amenities and rooms were good. As I entered my room I could feel the heating was on slightly which was ideal from coming in from a cool damp evening. Breakfast was continental which was fine. Would definitely return"

"Brilliant stay. The staff were so friendly and kind. The surrounding area is beautiful. The use of the gym, spa, putting and pool facilities is great to have. My room was a little small but this was fine for my solo business stay and had all the required amenities and more (minibar, Nespresso machine, good TV, robe). Breakfast was cooked, not a buffet and was tasty! Will definitely be going back when I’m in the area."

"We stayed 1 night at portavadie hotel in a standard lodge room. It was spacious and clean with the bonus of a mini fridge & pint of milk which is a nice touch. It surprised me how big the complex . You can either walk or drive to the leisure facilities as its not in the same building as reception & restaurant. The restaurant food is good & the staff very pleasant. Especially Debbie who served us at breakfast. I would definitely stay here again"

"Great stay for family, I have stayed in both the cabins and hotel , if you can stay in the cabins they are much better , staff on front desk on check out was trying to charge for breakfast even though I had paid with the booking ; she was quite adamant that I needed to pay it until she finally realised I didn’t , shouldn’t really need to argue your case …"
